Eliana Abravanel : a short bio

I am a visual artist and recent filmmaker, living and working in Athens, Greece. I went back to college a few years ago and got a degree in Film Studies. I have directed two shorts (fiction), “Cake” and “The Switch”, as part of my thesis and I was also responsible for creating a series of videos for the “Barren Routes” exhibition at the Museum of Cycladic Art in 2011. For the past three years I have been working on “Roughcut”, my first documentary.

Ioanna Pojiantzi was born in 1983 in Patras, Greece, and graduated from the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the Aegean University in 2004. She has been working as an editor in film and television, with two feature films and two television series to her name, as well as several short films, TV commercials and a number of award-winning documentaries. She currently lives in Athens, Greece, with her husband and young son.
